Yeah, it's kind of a corny title but it popped into my mind first. I was having a terrible time applying eyeliner, one eye was OK but the left was terrible. You see, I have myopia (nearsightedness) and also wear contacts of the mono vision kind. One eye sees distance and the other eye sees close up, I know it sounds crazy but it works, it took me only about 3 minutes to make the adjustment in my brain.
The solution I found was so simple, remove both contacts and my vision went to brain surgery approved. My up close unassisted vision is better than 20/20. Apply eyeliner, replace contacts, and look at perfectly lined eyes!
Maybe this is obvious to many but maybe this tip might help someone new to the club.
